NDA's PM candidate should be from BJP: Nitish Kumar

Patna, Dec 17 (IANS) Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar Monday said only a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader will be the National Democratic Alliance's (NDA) prime ministerial candidate for the 2014 Lok Sabha elections.
"A BJP leader will be the NDA's prime ministerial candidate," Nitish Kumar said here.
A day after the BJP ruled out the possibility of Nitish Kumar becoming the NDA's prime ministerial candidate, he said he was never a contender for the post.
Nitish Kumar refused to comment on Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi as the party's prime ministerial candidate.
Earlier, he and his party, the Janata Dal-United, had expressed strong reservations about Modi as the BJP's prime ministerial candidate.
Nitish Kumar had said earlier that it would not take a minute for his party to break ties with the BJP if the latter projected Modi as its prime ministerial candidate.
He had also objected to his photographs with Modi in newspaper advertisements during the BJP national executive meeting in Patna in June 2010.

7 body language secrets to attract women

It is said, ‘Attraction isn’t a choice’. You can’t force somebody to like you or get attracted to you (unless of course, you are in the possession of some Amortentia i.e. the love potion). But just like fortune, Cupid also favours the brave; so one needs to be ready when the right one comes along.
The first step of attraction may be physical (looks, voice), but the key factor is surely communication. And only 10% of what we communicate happens through words; the rest is all body language. Getting the body language right goes a long way in making people like you. Here we reveal a few secrets on how to master this language and attract women.

1. Move your body:
Movements are important. Hurried, fidgety gestures and movements spell low-confidence. Moving too fast may make her feel intimidated. Controlled movements are signs of a confident men. This also gives the other person a sense of comfort.

2. Walk like a man
It is ‘key’ to have a good posture when you are walking. Walking with your head down or your hands in your pockets makes you look 'closed' and less approachable. Walk with your head held high and open up your shoulders.

3. Shine in your seat
When you meet and talk to people, you spend most of your time sitting. It is very important to give a relaxed impression. Lean back and make yourself comfortable. Don’t fold your hands, it signals that you’re shielding yourself and makes you look closed off.

4. Open up
When you are talking to a woman, you must not close your body. Palms should be open and Arms should be by your side. You should not cross your legs when you are in a sitting position. Crossing your legs or arms is also a signal of being ‘closed off.’

5. Its all in the eyes
Make and maintain eye-contact. Women look for confidence and sincerity in a man and there is no one better to tell them about it than your eyes. Also keep your eyes from wandering off to ‘you-know-where’ when you are talking to her. Eye contact and glances can also be used to invite or express interest.

6. Smile please

A smile is very powerful when used effectively. It is one of the first things people note about you when they see you. A good smile shows your confidence and enthusiasm.

7. Intimate not uncomfortable
If you think there is chemistry between you and her, its okay to be a little bold sometimes. Holding hands when talking or walking is good way to start. But don’t move too fast and make her uncomfortable. Give her the space she needs and look for the invitation signals.

Indian IT to benefit from Barack Obama's healthcare victory

BANGALORE: Indian information technology and back-office companies can look forward to deals worth up to $22 billion (Rs 1.2 lakhcrore) after the US Supreme Court upheld a law designed to bring about far-reaching reforms in the American healthcare sector.

Some 30 million uninsured Americans are expected to buy healthcare insurance because of the reform, and new projects are expected in the form of data conversion, creation and management of electronic health records, as well as claims processing and insurance sales.

Last week, the US Supreme Court upheld the main elements of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, President
Barack Obama signature legislative achievement which he signed into law in 2010.

The overhaul has divided
America, with the Republican opponents of Obama the ones who most vehemently against it because they believe it infringes on the right of Americans to choose.

The law, derisively called Obamacare by its opponents, makes it mandatory for all Americans to buy health coverage starting in 2014 or pay a penalty. Also, employers who fail to offer affordable coverage to full-time staff and their dependents will face penalties.

Experts said the decision will potentially unlock about $20 billion in outsourcing from the healthcare sector that Indian service providers have been eyeing. According to IT industry group Nasscom, of the $70 billion worth of software outsourcing that happens out of India, about $30 billion comes from insurance and financial services.

Healthcare accounts for another 4% of the IT-BPO industry, which is expected to grow slower this year, at 11-14% from 17% last year.

Global leaders in healthcare benefits administration such as ACS-Xerox, Hewitt, Mercer and ADP have set up large outsourcing units in India. America's largest insurer
UnitedHealth Group has a captive BPO unit in Gurgaon which employs over 2,000. Others such as ADP and Mercer employ about 6,000 and 2,000, respectively.

Most units are based in Gurgaon, from where they administer healthcare benefits for US workers, who can pick and chose benefits in medical insurance. Besides,
Infosys, iGate Patni, Cognizant, Genpact, TCS and Wipro, all have insurance practices, which provide underlying technologies to insurance giants.

With the new reforms, even single physicians would have to centralise records and convert them into digital format. It will benefit the Indian IT-BPO companies hugely," said Ameet Nivsarkar, vice-president of Nasscom.

According to the Everest Group, the global healthcare benefits administration outsourcing market is about $5.4 billion in value annually but the potential market is worth $20-22 billion, which the healthcare reforms will help unlock.

"Although these reforms will take a number of years to come into effect (from 2014), we're seeing buyers looking at outsourcing as an option to understand the reforms, navigate the complexities and identify new savings potential," said Rajesh Ranjan, research director at Everest Research.

Sid Pai, partner and MD at TPI, a sourcing advisory, said that the decision of the US Supreme Court will help Indian companies win business in areas such as creation of electronic health records. The new law allocates about $37 billion for creation and management of electronic health records, data conversion, beta testing and change management.

"Employers will need to double their compliance efforts, especially regarding such immediate requirements as providing summaries of benefits and coverage to their employees," said Julio A Portalatin, President and CEO of Mercer.

Globally, Aon
Hewitt and Fidelity lead the benefits administration outsourcing market with a combined share of nearly 50%. ACS-Xerox, ADP, Ceridian, iGate Patni, Infosys, ING, Mercer, Secova and Towers Watson are the other major providers.

"It's likely that outsourcing will become more common as compliance becomes increasingly complex with new healthcare regulations," said Tim Clifford, President, Benefits Services at ADP, a provider of human resource management, payroll and benefits administration services.

Help others-Help Youself

Do Something lists more ways to become involved in helping others. Some of the causes are nothing some people would want to get into, but there are many others that you can choose that will be helpful to people across the world. Check it out and surely you can find one that is of interest to you.
Since the accumulation of wealth and achievement of goals by themselves don’t seem to provide the purpose and meaning people want in their lives, how can someone learn to be grateful? There are several things one can do to build gratitude for the many good things that happen to them. Meditation can be effective; it does require finding how to meditate which you can discover with an online search for this term. Then you need to practice on a daily basis—it’s harder to get into than it may seem. And there’s the 21-day “no complaint” idea. You may want to try this and you can find a lot more about it from Tim Ferris, author of The 4-Hour Workweek.( http://www.fourhourworkweek.com/blog/2007/09/18/real-mind-control-the-21-day-no-complaint-experiment/)  But there is a much simpler way to become grateful—it is called “gratitude training” which you learn by daily exercises. As soon as you wake up, ask yourself, “What am I grateful for in my life?” Then write at least five things in your life you really appreciate. Make yourself do this for awhile, and soon it will become part of you. For more about gratitude see this page.( http://www.simplemarriage.net/gratitude-training.html)
In the U.S. and all around the world, there is a revival of the quest for spiritual meaning and the purpose for our lives. Most of you are not yet at the age of baby boomers; they are your parents, but from just being around them and from observing all the weird things people young and old are doing, you realize the strong search for a reason to live. Begin to use some of the ideas we have discussed to make your life richer and more fulfilling. Don’t wait until retirement, as many have. It’s never too late to revive your spiritual needs, but if you begin early, your life will be a lot happier, your health will be better, and you will enjoy everything you do. There are a lot of clinically depressed people in our culture. If more people found deeper meaning for their lives at an earlier age, it would do away with a lot of these depressed people. Just try a few of these ideas that interest you; no one can do them all.
Help others—help yourself!

6 Steps to create your own product

If you want to have a successful Internet marketing career, you're going to need to start creating your own product. However, making any old thing won't do, you need to create something of high quality that stands out, and that creates an emotional connection with your audience so they believe you empathize with them and can create the solutions to the problems they have in their lives. In this article, I'll go through a six step process that will ensure you achieve exactly that with your next product.
First, you'll want to tell your customers what they'll learn in the product. This is the key to making sure understand what they're getting, and it creates suspense and something to look forward to. You want to lay out what the product is, why your customers need it, how it works, and what it can do for them.
Next, you want to create a section telling a bit about yourself. Speak about your background, and what qualifies you to present on your topic.
Now, you'll want to create your emotional hook. Here is where you start to drill down into the major problems the customer has and thereby clearly express you know what is wrong. So if this was ‘make money on the Internet’ product, you would focus on emotional hooks like being overwhelmed, overworked, underpaid, and having little extra time to do the things you love.
Now, you make the connection between you and customer by emphasizing that you are just like them. Mention that you were once in their shoes, so you know how they feel, and you are best qualified to lead them to a solution to their problem. You can mention various things here, such as you've tried other programs that haven't worked. You were confused by the number of options out there and didn't know where to begin, etc.
Now, you're going to tell them what the solution is for their problem. Lay out the solution in as much of a step by step format as possible, being sure to leave no stone unturned in your explanation. Make sure you pay extra special attention to this part, as this is the meat of the product.
Finally, you're going to lay out a step by step plan that your customer should use in order to begin solving their problem. Follow these steps and when you start creating your own product, you're sure to please your customers and make them want to buy more from you in the future.

Protect Your Articles

Protect Your Articles and Increase Your Exposure
Frustrated by scoundrels taking your work and then having to prove you are the original author?
Before you break out the pitchforks and call for the paddy wagon, consider this: Many of these "scoundrels" are not copy-cats looking for an easy article to prey on. Many are just misinformed and others may have made a simple mistake.
Either way, here are some measures you can take to protect your articles and maintain your credibility easily.
Preventive Action: Branding
Branding yourself as an Expert Author in any niche requires consistency in the quality and quantity of the articles you produce, as well as a solid byline or author name. Your author name creates strength, confidence, and credibility in your brand. So why wouldn't you use it to your full advantage?
Think of it as using a branding iron to stamp your author name on each and every one of your articles. Wherever your article goes, no matter the platform, your name goes with it.
If you write under different pen names (or alternate author names), ensure these names are consistent with your articles by staying organized. Keep a database of your author names, the articles attributed to those names, and where the articles are published. This ensures you won't publish an article under the wrong brand. Also, should your articles appear elsewhere without proper credit to you, you can legitimately prove the article is yours without confusing one of your author names with another.
Preventive Action: Resource Box
Ensure your article's byline matches the signature line or Resource Box of the article. Publishers are required to include the author's full Resource Box or author's signature line at the end of the article, so it is advantageous to have a strong Resource Box. Here are 4 items we recommend to include in your Resource Box:
1.   Your Name
2.   Your Unique Selling Proposition
3.   Your Call-to-Action
4.   Your Website Address
Not only do these four items increase brand-awareness, they create an impression and help readers find you wherever your article goes on the Internet!
If Action Is Needed: Communicate
Should you find your articles elsewhere and there has been no attempt to cite you as the original author:
1.   Open a line of communication by contacting the owner/webmaster of the site and ask them to fix the oversight. This will normally accomplish the end result you are looking for as most webmasters just need to be informed - it might have been an oversight or mistake.

2.   If after you contact them and no action has been taken within 48 hours, contact the site's ISP/Host. Ask them to enforce their AUP (Acceptable Use Policy). This information can usually be found by doing a WHOIS lookup on the domain name.
We expect publisher(s) to follow our reprint rules as stated in our Terms of Service for Publishers. However, it is up to you to take action against those who abuse your copyright or mistakenly published your article on their site without providing due credit. Check out your Reprint Rights in our Terms of Service for Authors.
Don't be afraid of publishers picking up your articles! If you create articles publishers find valuable, they will distribute your content to their ezine subscribers, which in turn provides you with great exposure and additional backlinks! Remember: Take preventive action with proper branding and if action is needed, give them the benefit of the doubt before jumping to any conclusions. Who knows? You may even build a new working relationship!
